Week 9 is used as a catch-up week.

Week 8 – Computer parts

Grade 1 & 2

Students watched a video on the desktop and learnt in depth about the desktop, icons and the taskbar. They then completed a worksheet on what they have learnt.

Grade 3 & 4

Students watched a video on Knowledge and Understanding of Computer Parts – external and peripheral devices and then treated their login to  Mathletics and Literacy Planet. 

Grade 5 & 6

Students logged into STILE and completed Questionnaires on computer parts after reading about and watching a video on  Computer Parts – Internal and external components and peripheral devices.

2017 Term 1 week 7

Grade 1 & 2

Students used Butterflies and Pegs recording devices to record their voice detailing their observations on nature in the school grounds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grade 3 & 4

Students used Easi-Speak recording devices to record their voice detailing their observations on nature in the school grounds. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grade 5 & 6

STILE – Students logged into Stile website and worked on the lesson on Flipped classroom & asynchronous learning.

 

 

2017 Term 1 weeks 3 & 4

Week 4 ID CARD

Grade 1-6 Opened and saved in a nominated folder their ID card Template. They edited the template including inserting their portfolio photo created in week 2. They then edited it,  they saved the card’s changes and printed after which they pasted on their work samples folder.

Week 3 Cybersafety:

Grade 1 & 2

Students went back over some of the class rules (ergonomics rules) and then visited Hector’s World  [Details Details & Welcome to the carnival]. 

Grade 3 & 4

Students went back over some of the class rules (ergonomics rules) and then visited Cybersmart Budd:e  

Grade 5 & 6

Students went back over some of the class rules (ergonomics rules) and then visited CyberSmart Access 

2017 Term 1 weeks 1 & 2

GRADE 1-6

In week one the students did a walkthrough of the computer & wireless network at the school,  Computers were checked for problems and used to investigate favourite programs or websites. Students also went through the classroom rules and code of co-operation

During week 2 students used the webcam on the laptops to take a portrait photo and rename & save the photo in a nominated folder (to be used later to create an ID card).
